Weekend Marketplace
Under specific State and County mandates the Ventura College Weekend Marketplace is Open Again Starting January 16th & 17th!
There is new protocol for both our vendors and patrons. We ask that all visitors wear face coverings and practice proper social distancing. Please review the COVID-19 Marketplace Reopening Information Packet for details on our operational plan, supplemental vendor agreement, and safety protocol.
Only vendors selling essential goods, or any other items authorized by the Ventura County Public Health Department have returned.

Ventura College Foundation
The Ventura College Foundation’s Weekend Marketplace began as a small effort in 1985 by the VC Foundation’s board of directors to raise additional support for the Foundation and funds for Ventura College students and programs. The Weekend Marketplace has grown into an established community event attracting vendors and patrons from throughout the state and will typically draw approximately 2,000 to 5,000 shoppers each weekend.
In the past decade, the VC Foundation Weekend Marketplace has doubled the revenue it generates from space rentals to support the Foundation, helping cover the costs of staff, operations, and a portion of the Foundation's core programs: scholarships, the VC Promise, and textbook lending support.
