Administrative Assistant to Executive Director and Human Resource Specialist

Full-time permanent opportunity for an Administrative Assistant and HR Specialist from a non-profit and/or higher education setting with at least 3-5 years' experience. This position reports to the Executive Director of the Ventura College Foundation. The Administrative Assistant and HR Specialist will perform a wide variety of administrative support, and clerical duties to enable the Executive Director to maximize her time for fundraising, board member engagement, and campus and community relations. The Administrative Assistant and HR Specialist will facilitate all of the HR functions of the organization to support the entire staff team's capacity to fulfill their responsibilities in a supportive, ethical, and collaborative environment.

Programs and Development Specialist

The Program and Development Specialist is directly responsible for ensuring the facilitation of philanthropic support to the students of Ventura College, a designated Hispanic Serving Institution. As a direct report to the Executive Director, this employee utilizes skills, key stakeholders, and available resources to design, market, lawfully facilitate, assess the effectiveness of, and enable access to and impact of signature programs including the Ventura College Promise, student resource, and scholarship programs. Under the direction of the Director of Major and Planned Giving, this employee also works to ensure the financial sustainability of Foundation programs through personal solicitation of donations and general support for the work of the development team. This specialist will utilize restricted and unrestricted funding support appropriately, support timely grant reporting and
fundraising appeals, and ensure the collection and analysis of data to assess program impacts.
