Once a Pirate, Always a Pirate

After Ventura College, I transferred to UCLA as a student athlete. I graduated from UCLA in 1975. Played three years of professional baseball and then returned to Ventura College to work for 37 years as a kinesiology instructor and coach.

Thank you for using the term once a pirate always a pirate. Coach Adams and I started that many years ago with our football and baseball athletes. Great to know that it’s still being used today.

Ventura College has been a huge impact in my life, both as a student, athlete and, an employee for many years. I will always be a pirate!
