2023 Diversity In Culture Festival Honors Dolores Huerta

Dolores Huerta will visit Ventura College on April 13 at the Diversity in Culture Festival. She will speak at 9am at the Main Stage and follow up with a short Q&A session. This in-person event is free and open to the public.

Dolores Huertais a celebrated Latina labor leader, activist and community organizer. She has worked for civil rights and social justice for over 50 years. In 1962 she and Cesar Chavez founded the United Farm Workers union. She served as vice-president and played a critical role in many of the union’s accomplishments for four decades.
